how do we work together?

There are two ways to start. A request on the site: you leave your contacts and a few lines about the project, and I reply by email within 1–2 working days. The quote, payment details and versions come by email. The Telegram bot: it asks a few questions about your project and passes your answers to me. The quote, payment, file upload and versions stay in one chat, and you can write to me there directly. From there the path is the same. We agree on the quote and timing, you pay for the project and upload your files to a Dropbox link: stems, a pre-master WAV, or an AAF for video. I send the first version, you listen on a few systems you trust and collect your notes into one list. I work through them and send the next version back. We repeat that until the mix matches your brief. There's no limit on rounds. Mixing and mastering revisions stay open for 30 days after the first version.

how do I know if you’re the right fit?

Listen to a few projects in the works section. If you're still unsure, after we discuss your project I can make a free 30-second sample: a mixed fragment of your track, or a few sound design ideas.

Starting prices: mixing from $150 per track; mastering from $30 per track; audio-post, music and sound design are quoted after I see the brief, based on length, complexity and deadline.

why should I work with you?

After months inside a project, you stop hearing it the way a listener does. That's when you need an experienced outside ear. I listen critically, add what's missing and stay in close contact with you the whole way. The project comes out cleaner, more emotional and better suited to the standards of its genre, and you stop second-guessing how it sounds.

who exactly will handle my project?

Me, Stanislav Lukoyanov, a mixing and mastering engineer and audio-post specialist based in Moscow. You work with me directly, from your first message to the final files.

what’s your typical turnaround time?

With a normal workload: mixing takes 3–5 working days to the first version, mastering 2–3 working days, audio-post, sound design and music from 2–3 working days for short-form content to 3–6 months for a feature film. When the studio is heavily booked, I'll let you know the timing separately.
